Deepak, Joe, Jack and I will discuss slipstreaming Windows XP with SP1.
This is not a how-to article because others have already figured out "how-to." If you follow any decent article step-by-step you can slipstream Windows XP. The only really tricky part is having your CD burning software set up to properly burn a Windows XP boot CD.
Deepak will discuss some issues regarding the Hardware Abstraction Layer, or HAL and a slipstreamed CD. This becomes especially important for hard drives of over 131 GB.
Before you slipstream Windows XP make sure that you don't already have a newer CD from Microsoft that already includes SP1.
